The family of a missing Florida aviation mechanic who vanished after work earlier this month are offering a reward for information that leads to his safe return.

Aviation mechanic Suren Seetal, 36, was last seen at work at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on Nov. 2 after 6 p.m. local time, according to NBC affiliate WTVJ, ABC affiliate WPLG and Fox affiliate WSVN.

According to WPLG, Seetal worked at Opa Locka Executive Airport first and then drove to work at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Surveillance video showed the 36-year-old walking away from a hangar at the airport.

The family is desperate for answers and are trying to remain hopeful.

“We’re really trying to be positive here,” his sister Karen told WTVJ. “We’re hoping for the best.”

“We are a very small close-knitted family and we need him back,” his mother, Meerah Seetal, told WPLG.

They have also offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to his return and launched a GoFundMe to help fund their search efforts.
