Family offers $3k reward for info that leads to missing Buna woman Cristi Ruso

The family of a Buna woman who has been missing for over four months is offering a reward for information that leads to her location.

Cristi Ruso, 31, was last seen on October 20th on Gum Slough Road near Buna, and in mid-December someone found two trash bags containing her clothing on County Road 721 off of Highway 96, about four miles south of Buna.

Other than that, there have been no reported sightings of the woman or any other leads in the case.

Cristi’s aunt, Debbie Wilson, has contacted KJAS News and she says that the family has increased a reward for information in the case. Originally set at $1,000.00, that reward is now set at $3,000.00.

Wilson emphasized that the reward money will not go to a tipster unless and until the family has absolute conformation that Cristi Ruso has been found.

If you have any information that can help find Cristi Ruso, you can call the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office at 409-384-5417.
