Lieutenant Cummings expressed gratitude for the patience and support of everyone involved in the search efforts. He highlighted the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies, volunteers, businesses, dive teams, and organizations such as the FBI and Equusearch in assisting with the search for Audrii.

During the press conference, Lieutenant Cummings announced that Don Steven McDougal, 42, of Livingston, is currently the main person of interest in Audrii’s disappearance.

McDougal was arrested yesterday for an unrelated aggravated assault charge. The public is urged to report any sightings of McDougal’s 2003 Chevrolet Suburban to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office or through the iWatch Texas app.

Furthermore, Polk County Crimestoppers has offered a $7,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person responsible for Audrii’s disappearance. Lieutenant Cummings emphasized that all tips can be made anonymously.

Lieutenant Cummings stated that while the investigation is ongoing, evidence suggests that foul play may be a factor in Audrii’s disappearance. However, the primary focus remains on locating Audrey and bringing her home safely.

During the press conference, Lieutenant Cummings refrained from providing specific details about the ongoing investigation to protect its integrity. He urged the public to continue reporting any relevant information to aid in the search for Audrii.

Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing investigation and adverse weather conditions, law enforcement officers and volunteers remain dedicated to finding Audrii.

Lieutenant Cummings assured the public that the search efforts would continue, with investigators committed to uncovering the truth and bringing Audrii home.

Anyone with information regarding Audrey Cunningham’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 863-298-6200 or submit tips anonymously through the iWatch Texas app.
