Finding the Missing Cat
Now that you have the cat suit, you can start questioning the Kakariko Village cats about the missing one. If you started with the one by the windmill it says it doesn’t know anything. Next, it can’t hurt to check in with the old man. He says he isn’t up to investigating himself, but points you back to the village cats.
There are plenty to talk to, though most are not too helpful. The one on top of the house on the southwest side of the village gives the best information, directing you to talk to the cat on top of the windmill on the northwest side of the village.
The trees around the windmill aren’t helpful in getting up to the fluffy cat. Try jumping up to the trees with a trampoline and using a Platboom from there. You could also go back up to the mountain path and build a bridge if you don’t have a Platboom.
Once atop the windmill, talk to the cat. This cat knows something. She was spotted in “a nice tree by the road from the east entrance to the village.” Return to the center of Kakariko Village and take the east road out of town, following the path.
You’ll spot the calico kitty resting atop a tree on the south side of the road, just past a cave. She’ll return home after you talk to her.
Return to Kakariko Village and talk to the elderly man for your reward of 10 refreshing grapes.
