NAVARRE BEACH, Fla. — As authorities and citizens continue to search for Cassie Carli, Channel 3 is breaking down the timeline of events in the case of the missing Navarre mother that has garnered national attention.

Carli, 37, was officially reported missing and endangered by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office last week.

In the days following, Channel 3 has reported extensively on the case — talking with law enforcement, family members, friends, citizens and rescue groups alike.

Here is the timeline of events — based off information Channel 3 has gathered — in Cassie’s disappearance:

  • SUNDAY, MARCH 27 — 7 P.M.: Cassie is scheduled for a custody exchange of her 4-year-old daughter Saylor with the child’s father, Marcus Spanevelo, around 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Juana’s Pagodas restaurant at Navarre Beach. Deputies later say this is the last time she was seen.
  • SUNDAY, MARCH 27 — 9:40 P.M.: Cassie’s father — after texting Cassie asking about her whereabouts — receives a text message from Cassie’s phone stating she is having car and phone trouble. She adds she is staying at Spanevelo’s home for the night.
  • MONDAY, MARCH 28: Text messages show Spanevelo tells Cassie’s father around 5:30 p.m. that Cassie asked him to drop her off “in the middle of nowhere in Destin” so she can go to her friend Stacy Porter’s home (Porter, who lives in Alabama, later tells Channel 3 that Cassie never arrived at her home). Spanevelo adds he left with Saylor and that Cassie’s car was in Navarre.
  • MONDAY, MARCH 28: Cassie’s family and friends officially report Cassie missing and begin their own search. Social media posts by friends regarding Cassie’s disappearance gain significant traction.
  • TUESDAY, MARCH 29: The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office officially announces Cassie as a missing and endangered person. Deputies add they recovered Cassie’s car at Navarre Beach, later revealing her purse was found inside the vehicle. Cassie’s friends begin an organized search of the area.
  • THURSDAY, MARCH 31: In a press conferenceSheriff Bob Johnson expresses concern about some findings of the investigation — specifically that Cassie has not had any cell phone or credit card activity, that authorities are aware of, since Sunday. He confirms the ongoing investigation has expanded beyond Santa Rosa County and that the FBI and FDLE are assisting. Sheriff Johnson adds “we are intent” on speaking with Spanevelo again since he is the last person they are aware of who saw Cassie.
  • FRIDAY, APRIL 1: Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers announce $3,000 reward for information that helps solve the case as volunteer search efforts continue to grow at Navarre Beach. Escambia Search and Rescue crews launch boats into the Santa Rosa Sound to help with the search. Cassie’s sister Raeann arrives in town, telling Channel 3 she is determined to find Cassie and that she has exchanged messages with Gabby Petito’s mom.
  • SATURDAY, APRIL 2: For the sixth straight day, Cassie’s friends and citizens from the community continue to search the Navarre Beach area.

Cassie Carli is 5’5″ and 150 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information can contact local law enforcement or Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers at 850-437-STOP.
