Suspect in arson at Salem middle school caught on camera, reward offered

SALEM, Ore. – Someone set fire to Waldo Middle School in Salem in late April, causing about $250,000 in damage, and investigators are asking for help identifying a suspect. According to the Salem Police Department, the arson took place at the school on Lansing Avenue Northeast at about 4:30 a. m. Wednesday, April 29. Detectives released surveillance images of a person they believe was involved, seen walking back to the area where the fire began.
