A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of three men who robbed a Safeway store pharmacy early Friday morning and escaped with prescription drugs.
Cottonwood police officers were called to an armed robbery at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Speedway located in the 900 block of South Main Street.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information related to an animal cruelty case, in which a black Labrador Retriever puppy died from wounds inflicted by a shotgun blast. The puppy was found January 6 along Highway 35 in St. Stephen. The dog, estimated at about three-months-old, was suffering internal injuries caused by shotgun pellets.
